University of Texas sweethearts, Hallie Rambie and Robert Bradley, were married on a beautiful January evening at Highland Park Presbyterian Church.  The bride looked stunning in a ball gown style Vera Wang dress as she was escorted down the aisle by her proud father.  After saying their vows, the newlyweds joined family and friends for their reception at Brook Hollow Golf Club.  Garden Gate Floral, with their design of beautiful floral arrangements, touches of draping and plenty of candlelight, created a romantic atmosphere perfect for the evening.   After serenading the couple to Ray La Montagne’s “You are the Best Thing”, Downtown Fever led the bride and her father in a touching moment as they danced to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”. After guests dined on Brook Hollow’s delicious cuisine, Hallie and Robert cut their cakes, created by Dallas Affaires. The bride’s gorgeous cake featured six layers of ivory tiers, accented by white flowers and highlighted with the bride and groom’s initials on the front.  The groom’s cake, which paid homage to Robert’s days as a member of Texas Cowboys, was surrounded with pictures of the couple during their college days. After cake cutting, Downtown Fever played  one of the couple’s favorite songs, “Africa”. Because Hallie and Robert met during Roundup their senior year, guests were given “roundup headbands” before the crowd joined in the singing of Texas Fight.  As evidenced by the packed dance floor, Downtown Fever kept the party going throughout the night, ending the evening with the “Sweet Caroline”. After being led out through a tunnel of sparklers, Hallie and Robert jumped into a waiting white Rolls Royce to depart on their “mini-moon” before heading home to Houston, where Hallie is in medical school and Robert is employed in finance.  The surprises continue for this fun couple, as Robert is set to surprise Hallie with a honeymoon in the coming months. Congratulations Hallie and Robert!
