Hutton and Ian Beckcom were married on a beautiful summer evening in June at Highland Park Presbyterian Church. After getting engaged on a trip to Edinburg, Scotland, the couple’s wedding and reception were filled with themes from their trips abroad including the pale blue and ivory color palette referenced in the beautiful flowers that graced the ceremony and reception. Jackson Durham transformed Brook Hollow into an intimate wedding reception starting with the cafe lights gracing the entrance. The ballroom was filled with soft candle light that accented the white and cream hued flowers, as well as the green vines cascading off draperies and from the ceiling. Beautiful furniture from Perch Event Decor was brought into the reception and, to add a personal touch, pillows with the couple’s new monogram were scattered throughout. Blind Date, one of couple’s favorite bands from Austin, serenaded Hutton and Ian with their favorite songs before kicking off the party for their family and friends. After cutting the fabulous bride and groom’s cakes, guests were invited to grab some gelato from Paciugo before ending the night on the dance floor. Guests donned hats and necklaces while dancing to a wide range of songs. After being led out of their reception by the band and through a sea of sparklers, Hutton and Ian appropriately dashed away on two vespas-leaving their family and friends behind after a magical evening. After a honeymoon to Greece, the couple will live in Houston. We wish Hutton and Ian many years of love, happiness and adventure as they begin their new life together!
