Blakeley and Sam’s stunning wedding ceremony and reception at DCC was one of our favorites this year! Blakeley’s vision of a “garden style” wedding and reception was perfectly executed thanks to a handful of talented and creative vendors. Outside on the lawn, Todd Fiscus designed an amazing floral arch that was the focal point of the space. Decorated with an array of flowers in various shades of pink and orange, the arch set the stage for the remainder of the evening. As guests walked to the ceremony space, they were greeted with gorgeous programs designed by Papellerie out of Houston, as well as glasses of champagne. After the ceremony, guests walked into the DCC ballroom which had been completely transformed with the help of gorgeous wooden arches, custom bar and stage facades, a white dance floor and plenty of incredible flowers. The flowers, mirroring the ones seen outside during the ceremony, were all in hues of pink and orange, complete with pops of green vines and leaves. Another focal point of the evening were the amazing displays of food at DCC which included delicious salads, candied bacon and a roasted pig. For dessert, guests dined on the bride and groom’s cakes, both by Panini. The Bride’s cake featured six tiers, simply decorated with ivory frosting with a gorgeous array of flowers at the base. After first dances, Pure Party Band kicked off the party and had guests dancing the entire evening! As a special treat to guests, a donut wall constructed with various flavors of donuts by a local favorite, Mustang Donuts. After a private last dance with the newlyweds, Blakeley and Sam departed their reception and hopped into a waiting, vintage mustang convertible. Congratulations, Blakely and Sam!
