Lisa and Andrew were married on a beautiful spring evening at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with a reception at Dallas Country Club. From the touching ceremony to the reception favors, the evening was filled with personal touches that celebrated the bride’s Greek heritage. With spring in the air, Garden Gate designed various floral arrangements to look vibrant and fresh—starting with Lisa’s classic and elegant lily of the valley bouquet. As guests entered the reception, blue and white vases lined the steps, simply filled with bright pops of green florals. Inside, white arrangements were scattered throughout the reception space—filled with a fresh mix of flowers including hydrangea, roses, tulips and peonies. Standing in the central area of the reception was Lisa’s cake, a seven – tiered confection created by Dallas Affaires. In lieu of a groom’s cake, guests were treated to delicious, traditional Greek desserts including baklava! After a touching toast from the Father of the Bride, guests dined and danced the night away. The Taylor Pace band went above and beyond, keeping guests dancing and celebrating the entire evening. Before departing, guests were given koufeta (sugar coated almonds), a traditional Greek wedding favor that symbolizes the sweetness of the newlywed’s future life! Lisa and Andrew radiate joy and we loved working with this sweet couple who used so much of their heritage throughout the ceremony and reception. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Shaddock!
