Dan and Jenny met in March 2010 at an event benefitting the victims of the Haitian earthquake. Jenny was talking with her college roommate who Dan happened to know. Dan came up and introduced himself to Jenny and the spark was instant, the banter was witty, and they quickly discovered a common sense of humor. Dan had to do some work to get Jenny’s number, but as they say, the rest is history! Dan proposed in the summer of 2012 at Caruth Park, where the two spend many nights playing tennis, walking their dog Dudley, and enjoying nice evenings. He pulled off the proposal without Jenny ever suspecting a thing, having flown to Midland the week before to ask her parent’s permission. The proposal was complete with Dan on one knee, a few tears, a lot of smiles and of course Dudley’s blessing!
Family and friends danced to “Inside Out” and enjoyed the usual delicious food at Dallas Country Club. Guests drove away with hot French fries from Whataburger as they relived the incredible evening!
