Brooke Thoele & Drew Russo

Brooke Thoele and Drew Russo were married on a crisp fall evening at University Park United Methodist Church followed by a beautiful reception at the Belo Pavilion in downtown Dallas.  After saying their vows in front of family and friends, guests headed to downtown Dallas to celebrate. Garden Gate Floral used a mixture of hydrangea, roses and lilies in white hues throughout the ballroom to create a timeless look for the reception. The focal point of the ballroom was the stunning halo of flowers designed by Garden Gate and carefully installed by Absolute Lighting. Greenery dotted with white lights cascaded over the top of the ballroom connecting a beautiful floral halo suspended above the dance floor. Assembled with white roses, hydrangea and orchids, the halo was accented with crystal balls that reflected lights throughout the reception. This unique detail envisioned by the bride captured everyone’s attention and certainly added a magical feeling to the reception! As guests dined on the Belo Pavilion’s delicious fare, everyone was treated to heartfelt toasts of congratulations to the newlyweds along with classic dinner music played by Emerald City.  For dessert, Dallas Affaires sculpted a beautiful five tier wedding cake with intricate details displayed on each layer. As always with Dallas Affaires, the cake tasted as delicious as it was beautiful! The groom’s cake paid homage to the New England Patriots and featured the team’s quarterback, Tom Brady, atop the cake. As a surprise, the father of the bride, an ardent Dallas Cowboys fan, took “deflategate” to the next level, asking Frosted Art to add a deflated football next to the Patriot’s logo. After cake cutting and toasts, Emerald City brought everyone to their feet with their music and kept the party going with high energy for the remainder of the evening. At the end of the fun night, Brooke and Drew departed in a sea of rose petals, before jumping into an awaiting vintage Rolls Royce to depart on their honeymoon! Congratulations, Brooke and Drew!
