Highland Park High School sweethearts, Lauren Connell and Teal Loftis, were married on a beautiful February evening at Highland Park Presbyterian Church with a reception following at Union Station in downtown Dallas. Lauren, an event planner in her own right, was a dream bride to work with because of her eye for design and impeccable attention to detail. The wedding ceremony, where the bride’s parents were married years earlier, was a beautiful testament to Lauren and Teal’s relationship. The bride wore a beautiful ball gown style dress designed by Patti Flowers that featured a jewel belt and a lace bodice. After saying “I Do”, Lauren and Teal joined family and friends at Union Station for their wedding reception. Branching Out went above and beyond with the flowers, creating a romantic and warm environment in the large ballroom. Glass tables, candles and furniture from Bella Acento added to the ambiance and created the perfect spot for family and friends to celebrate Lauren and Teal. After being introduced by the bride’s father and dancing to “Loving You Easy” by Zac Brown Band, Jordan Kahn kept the dance floor packed the rest of the evening.  Guests also enjoyed both the Bride’s cake, by Dallas Affaires, and Groom’s cake, by Frosted Art.  In a tribute to one of Teal’s favorite hobbies, the groom’s cake featured a deer head on a base cake decorated in camo. Lauren and Teal made their exit down the stairs at Union Station, exiting in a sea of white flutterfetti and hopping into a vintage taxi cab.  After honeymooning  in the Caribbean, the couple will reside in Dallas.
