Emily and Woody were married on a beautiful October evening at Christ the King with a reception afterwards at Dallas Country Club. Emily chose a royal blue hue to be used throughout the evening: from invitations, printed products and bridesmaid dresses, this gorgeous blue was the perfect accent color to pair with the bright flowers and the elegant space at DCC. After a touching ceremony, guests departed for Dallas Country Club to enjoy a perfect evening of dinner and dancing! Garden Gate’s gorgeous flowers added a the perfect colorful touch to the space–Emily opted for flowers in hues of hot pink, green and blue to be used around the ballroom. As guests entered the club, they were invited to write notes of love and support to the couple that would be placed in bottles and be opened up throughout the years of Emily and Woody’s marriage. After first dances, Jordan Kahn started the party and kept the dance floor packed through the evening! Guests were also treated to two delicious (and beautiful!) cakes: the bride’s by Dallas Affaires and the groom’s by Fancy Cakes by Lauren. The bride’s cake featured six tiers, simply decorated with bright flowers. The groom’s cake featured a Dallas Cowboy’s theme. As a surprise to Woody, Emily arranged for Rowdy from the Dallas Cowboys to make a special appearance! As a treat for their guests, freshly fried donuts by Lil’ Bits Donuts were waiting outside as a midnight snack. After a festive exit, Emily and Woody departed their reception in a vintage Bentley.
We loved working with this sweet couple and wish them many years of happiness!
