Katie + David

Katie and David’s October wedding was an unforgettable evening filled with such unique and gorgeous details! After their ceremony at Park Cities Baptist Church, guests arrived at Dallas Country Club to celebrate the newlyweds. Immediately upon entering the club, guests were drawn to the blue and white elements from the entry table, to the cocktail tables and elements seen throughout the ballroom. Along with personal photos and a sign in book, the entry table was gorgeously decorated with navy and white ginger gars paired with fresh white and green flowers–such a classic and timeless combination! The blue and white theme carried through beautifully through the reception, too. A bold blue and white linen on the two head tables, accented with tons of white orchids and candlelight, created such a beautiful focal point inside the ballroom. One detail we especially loved was the variations of arrangements seen throughout the space. The flowers, by Garden Gate Floral, were all so unique, but tied together perfectly because of the simple color palette and the use of the blue and white ginger jars. Another detail we loved was the couple’s married monogram in navy which popped against the white dance floor. After first dances, toasts and dinner, guests were treated to the Bride and Groom’s cakes, both by Dallas Affaires. The Bride’s cake featured six tiers of white cake, decorated with a swirl of white roses, orchids and hydrangeas. The Groom’s cake, which paid homage to David’s love of the University of Texas and golf, was designed as a replica to a UT golf bag, complete with UT golf balls underneath the cake! Jessie’s Girls, an East Coast Entertainment band, kept the party going and kept guests on the dance floor throughout the evening. As an early holiday treat, Halloween themed items were passed on the dance floor–including witch hats, cat ears and horns. After leaving with a rose petal send off, Katie and David hopped into a decorated golf cart decorated with a custom sign and beautiful flowers.

We had such a blast planning this fall wedding and loved how all the details tied so perfectly together! Many thanks to Caroline and Luke Jurgensen for their beautiful photos. Congrats, Katie and David!
