After meeting at the University of Alabama, college sweethearts Patterson Perrin and Hanna Arvin were married at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church with a reception following at Brook Hollow Golf Club. After a beautiful rehearsal dinner the evening before at Dallas Country Club, Hanna spent the morning with her bridal party at Brook Hollow where the girls donned matching robes and relaxed while enjoying hair & makeup. Right before the ceremony, the soon-to-be newlyweds opted for an intimate first look, sharing a special moment together before saying “I Do” in front of friends and family. Following the ceremony, Hanna and Patterson gathered with their guests at Brook Hollow for a night of dinner and dancing. Garden Gate went above and beyond in creating a romantic environment inside the club—beautiful centerpieces filled with cream hydrangea, garden roses and peonies sat atop tables while candles glowed throughout the ballroom. After their first dance as husband and wife, both Patterson and Hanna shared special moments on the dance floor as their siblings joined the formal dances. Following a delicious seated dinner, Hanna and Patterson cut their beautiful cakes, both crafted by Dallas Affaires. The Bride’s cake, featuring five tiers of vanilla cake, was decorated simply with the bride’s new initials and large blush and white peonies. The groom’s cake paid homage to the couple’s college years by featuring the University of Alabama emblem on top of a rich, chocolate cake with Kahlua filling. Needless to say, both cakes were a hit and gave guests the perfect sweet ending to a fabulous dinner. The Royal Dukes played some of the newlywed’s favorite songs and kept the dance floor packed throughout the evening. As a special late night snack, the couple surprised their guests with fried chicken biscuits and French fries—a perfect southern treat to end the fun filled evening! After leaving through a tunnel of sparklers, Patterson and Hanna departed in a vintage, white Bentley decorated appropriately with a “Just Married” sign and small bouquets of flowers. Following their honeymoon in the Dominican Republic, the couple will live in Columbia, South Carolina where Patterson will attend law school. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for Hanna and Patterson and loved working with both of their sweet families to create the perfect evening! Congratulations (and Roll Tide)!!
