After meeting through mutual friends, Palmer popped the question to Hannah during a beach vacation and, shortly thereafter, the couple started planning their dream wedding! On a beautiful April evening, Palmer and Hannah married before friends and family in a touching ceremony at Park Cities Baptist Church. Hannah knew she wanted her reception at the Bush Library and, thanks to her eye for interior design, the space was transformed into a warm and romantic environment. At the entrance of the Library, a beautiful table decorated with blooms of white orchids and personal pictures greeted guests as they walked into the reception. Signature cocktails were passed as friends and family waited for Palmer and Hannah to make their entrance. Beautiful stage facades from Perch, combined with linens from BBJ gave an intimate and personal feel to the reception. Garden Gate filled the room with cream peonies, roses and hydrangea, adding small pops of coral and blue throughout the arrangements as a nod to the spring season. Scattered candles dotted the venue and cast a soft glow throughout the room. Guests were able to enjoy the Bush Library’s outdoor courtyard, which was draped in small lights–the perfect recluse for guests to step outside and enjoy the beautiful evening. After the newlywed’s first dance, Palmer and Hannah joined their guests in feasting on delicious food, ending the meal on the perfect sweet treat: wedding cake. The Bride’s cake featured six tiers of ivory cake decorated simply with cascading ivory peonies and small sugar flowers. The Groom’s cake paid homage to Palmer’s company, Outline the Sky, and featured his signature design of the Dallas skyline. After cutting their cakes and toasting with champagne, Cuvee kept the party going and the dance floor packed the remainder of the evening. As a treat for their friends and family, Hannah and Palmer surprised guests with custom sunglasses and hats, as well as glow in the dark necklaces that were enjoyed by everyone. Capping out the evening with more dancing, Palmer and Hannah left their reception through a tunnel of neon lights before jumping into a waiting Mercedes convertible. Following their Caribbean honeymoon, the newlyweds will live in Dallas! Obviously this wedding was one for the books—we had so much fun helping Hannah, Palmer and their families plan their special day! Cheers to the newlyweds!
